We are currently designing a new experience. More to come!
We build attractive, participatory experiences to fit our clients learning and change objectives. Our unique solutions engage both mind and body to lower social boundaries, spark the impulse of creativity, and use this untapped power as a positive motivation to investigate, participate and learn. We do this by using design thinking, gamification, and the unparalleled experience that was Entros.
Entros Heritage
In the 1990s, a hub of innovation opened in Seattleās South Lake Union neighborhood as Entros. Prosaically, Entros was called a a restaurant and interactive entertainment space. In reality, this singular business brought the concepts of design thinking and gamification to life long before the definitions existed. (See below for the various attempts to describe Entros.)
Entros launched multiple careers and businesses including award-winning gamemakers, actors, augmented reality producers, restaurateurs, and Interplay. The experience designers that developed through the reality of supporting nightly games and designing new puzzles monthly now bring their learnings to every Interplay project.
Defining Entros:
āThe best elements of a dinner party, salon, art commune, and Kiwanis Club.ā
āAn intelligent amusement parkā
A creative force capable of taking on the Walt Disney Imagineering team
A live game show/ restaurant
A āmad-scientist experiment that combines restaurant, nightclub and interactive theaterā
Gamification
Gamification brings elements of games such as rules of play, competition, cooperation, and point scoring, to improve learning. When people engage in novelty and creativity, problem-solving improves.
Design Thinking
Design thinking is about solving problems through user-centered design. It does this by listening and developing a empathetic understanding of the audiences needs.
