Microsoft Team Building Picnic: Pirate Power

A continuation of a five year relationship Interplay was challenged with creating a themed event for an annual Microsoft team building picnic.

The Challenge

Create a theme to distinguish this annual event from past ones while at the same time building on the success of past events. Especially important was building activities that would challenge an exceptionally well educated audience with a high degree of smart play.

The Solution

Interplay created an event entitled Pirate Power. In this event participants took part in three different exercises designed to draw out their inner pirate. Each event was lead by pirate “motivators.”

The Result

Interplay successfully engaged a diverse and highly intelligent group in a series of smart play activities that brought people together in common challenges that strengthened bonds between team members.
