Epiphany: Attracting Interaction

Epiphany is a market research company that specializes in a real-time, highly interactive and personal approach to learning what people think about brands and products.
The Challenge
Epiphany approached us with a triple challenge after deciding to exhibit at the Puget Sound American Marketing Association MarketSmart event.
1. Engage attendees in the Epiphany brand and immediately convey what Epiphany does
2. Create an attractive and interactive experience in a very small footprint
3. Gently solicit contact information for market research purposes in a low to no-pressure manner
The Solution
Mining the essence of Epiphany’s core business (asking the right questions to the right people), the attractive qualities of the Epiphany logos and design themes, and the name of the company, we created a real-life interactive experience that generated this exclamation from the Epiphany CEO: “To call what you created a ‘tradeshow booth’ is not doing it justice”.
Simple yet elegant round shapes supported by a framework carried a several questions about what brings on an epiphany…for you? The unusual display, evocative potential answers, and our inventive method of answering these fun questions using attendee business cards made the Epiphany booth experience a highlight of the show.

Beyond winning an award for best booth design, the best explanation of the results comes from Epiphany CEO Tracy Klinkroth:

Our booth was definitely the talk of the show. So many people came up to me to tell me how interesting and fun it was.
It was an ingenious and creative way to get people to actually come up and check out our booth, giving me the opportunity to tell them about Epiphany Research.
